On the Wings of Ruin

Once a man with a valorous heart
Went for the vision of living his dream
To express his creativity through some form of art

Day by day he would feed his soul
With the contentment of working at home
“I am fortunate to live as an artist”
So he said

What he could never expect...

The world couldn’t pay for his candid work
And so he had to turn back on his faith
Freedom has never been the same from that day on
And so his will to live

Once a man with a straightforward mind
Went for the vision of living with ease
Amid luxury and all the wealth he could ever find

Day by day he would struggle hard
With the commitment his firm desired
“It’s all part of the art of making a fortune”
So he said

What he could never expect...

Routine turned his fight into such a load
He couldn’t bear fearless like before
He chose to give up that life
In favor of his sanity

On the wings of ruin
After the search of their lives
Fate has been so merciless
For having let them fly
