Here in this place far below
Where hills are high and wind still blow
Cuts through the air, at speed of light
It's in for the kill, tonight

I ran and looked to the skies
But that damned morning Sun blinded my eyes
There was just a single dark shade
Gliding its fate

Is a plane? Or a superman?
No, it's the flight of the falcon
Closing in, can't you see?

It flies, flies, near the Sun
It disappears but sooner will come
Looking for a prey that's far away
Where eyes can lay

Its wings are fast, its beak is sharp
An image that moves deeply in heart
For me the falcon is a sign to the free
The ones like you and me
