Bowline

I wont forget that all I have are our memories.
I'm retracing every step and look around at what I see.
This place can bring you down but this is all I really need.
I'm not about to lie down now.
I'm not about to give up anything for you.
I just need to take deep breaths look around and clear my head.
This Means everything to me.
So I shut my eyes to keep the world from seeing inside.
Into the shadows of my soul and all these knots that have been keeping me tied down.
They're keeping me from moving forward;
They're keeping me from everything.
They're keeping from everything I love.
But it's not enough. No
Its not enough it's ever enough for me
Nothing ever is so I'll retrace my steps and see how far away I am from where I could be.
