As We Turn

Wings of white
Lilac eyes
I will watch them for a while
The iris comes alive
Scattered grounds
Soaring high above yourself
Circle round

Well worn paths to who knows where
I know you can't lead me there
Trying to fit my life with yours
Shifting circles whirling wide
Changing like the endless tide
Deafened by sounds I hear

Silver touch
Dressed in light

Crossing space
