The living sacrifice
He gave himself, his all
He fought until the end armed only with
His love for me
Embracing only silence
His face carrying my sin
To everyone who hurt Him
His forgiveness shared through pain
And in that rugged cross
Complaint He made
Not Once
The holy lamb of God who suffered just because of love
Changing my life, he did
When his blood was poured to wash away my sin
Dividing my life into two
Before and after him
By the Blood

Of my Lord (of His love)

Was saved because of his blood
I was healed because of his blood
Was redeemed because of His blood
I am free because of His blood

The blood that poured from Him
It gives me life eternally
The blood that poured from him
Strong and faithful to redeem
He endured it all
The cost was His blood
All for love
The precious blood
His blood of love

A living sacrifice
I want to be for Him
By grace as pure and holy
All my life to Christ my king
Declare His truths forever
Example I will be
Of His unending mercy
Of His power over me
Forgive all that was done
To others, to my heart
And use my hands to bless
By blessing lives no matter what
And I no longer live
But my Jesus lives His life within my heart
My past deleted
It’s no more
Everything forgiven by the Blood
By the blood / of my Lord
