If you find yourself crying at the start of the day
You gotta touch one toe to the cold wood floor
You gotta try a few steps though your legs are sore

Sometimes I look in the mirror and stare at my face
Just a mess of missed marks all over the place
Just a stack of papers and a carrot chase
Just another number in the human race
But then I smell the coffee and I crave a shower
I think I'd like to stay at least another hour
