Eu cantei de folhas, de folhas de ouro,

The bare and leafless day.
As folhas estão caindo no córrego.
The leaves are falling in the stream.
O rio corre para longe.
The River flows away.

O Lórien! Há muito tempo eu morei
O Lórien! Too long I have dwelt
Sobre esta Shore Hither
Upon this Hither Shore
E em uma coroa de desvanecimento ter torcido
And in a fading crown have twined
O elanor dourada.
The golden elanor.

Mas se de navios agora eu deveria cantar.

O navio viria para mim,
What ship would come to me,

Do outro lado do mar tão grande assim?
