Said the night wind to the little lamb:

Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy:

Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king:
"Do you know what I know?

Said the king to the people everywhere:

Pray for peace, people everywhere!

Disse o vento noturno ao cordeirinho:
"Você vê o que eu vejo?
Lá em cima no céu, cordeirinho,

Disse o cordeirinho ao menino pastor:
"Você ouve o que eu ouço?

Disse o menino pastor ao poderoso rei:

Uma criança, uma criança treme de frio.
Vamos levar-Lhe prata e ouro,

Disse o rei aos povos de todos os lugares:
