Lantern
I cursed the breath of the sea
Spelled as poetry
The dreams I could explore
I left them by the door
Watched the lanterns tilt
Through days of darkened guilt
I prayed for newborn skies
To lift me up so high
I was blind now I can see
Sweet mother set me free
How could I ask for more
Let them sisters soar
This land is more than dreams
These days are what they seem
No more darkened doors
Let them sisters soar
Lanterna
Eu amaldiçoi o sopro do mar
Espelhado como poesia
Os sonhos que eu poderia explorar
Eu os deixei à porta
Observou a inclinação das lanternas
Através de dias de culpa escurecida
Rezei por céus recém nascidos
Para me levantar tão alto
Eu estava cego agora eu posso ver
Doce mãe me libertou
Como eu poderia pedir mais
Deixe as irmãs subirem
Esta terra é mais do que sonhos
Hoje em dia são o que parecem
Não há mais portas escurecidas
Deixe as irmãs subirem
