The Dream
Last night I dreamed that you and I were in an awful storm
With no place to go or shelter anywhere
And it took a while to realize the reason for the dream
Now the meaning of it all is coming clear
The storm was all the trouble we've been having
No shelter was the answer we can't find
And the screaming of the raging wind that chilled me to the bone
Must have been the weary on my mind
And when today you called to tell me it was over
Lord I knelt when the phone began to ring
Yeah it took a while to understand the reason of it all
But now I know the meaning of the dream

Ontem à noite eu sonhei que você e eu estávamos em uma tempestade terrível
Sem nenhum lugar para ir ou abrigo em qualquer lugar
E levou um tempo para perceber a razão para o sonho
Agora, o significado de tudo isso está vindo clara
A tempestade foi de todos os problemas que estamos tendo
Sem abrigo foi a resposta não podemos encontrar
E os gritos do vento feroz que me gelou até os ossos
Deve ter sido o cansado em minha mente
E quando hoje você me ligou para dizer que estava acabado
Senhor eu me ajoelhei, quando o telefone começou a tocar
Sim, isso levou um tempo para entender a razão de tudo isso
Mas agora eu sei o significado do sonho
